TRADE MINISTER ADDRESSES UNCTAD IN GENEVA
The Hon. Minister of Trade and Industry Peter Bayuku Konteh has addressed the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) which is one of the specialised agencies of the United Nations system based in Geneva, Switzerland.
In his remarks the Minister emphasized ways to strengthen the investment climate of these economies and the role of the private sector in development.
The presentation by the Honourable Minister detailed the challenges and progress been done to improve the business and investment climate in the Sierra Leone context and was well received.
The meeting provides a platform for dialogue on emerging and key issues related to investing for sustainable development.
